Consecutive Interpreting
LANGUAGE LINK UK CAN PROVIDE CONSECUTIVE LANGUAGE INTERPRETING FROM ITS OFFICES IN KENT LONDON EAST MIDLANDS AND NOTTINGHAM
What is Consecutive Language Interpreting?
Consecutive language interpreting is ideally used for single language set speeches being delivered to an audience i.e. the audience is English speaking but the speaker is French. A consecutive language interpreter can speak on a paragraph-by-paragraph procedure or, if preferred, an entire speech can be reproduced when the person delivering it has finished speaking. No special equipment or extra space is required but it should be noted that the immediacy of a presentation may suffer, especially if more than one target language is involved and the talk will take twice as long. One language interpreter works into one language.
