WHISPERING INTERPRETING when there may one be one delegate attending a meeting or conference that does not speak the conference language. In this instance an interpreter would sit next to the delegate and whisper in their ear. The interpreter would translate in and out of the delegate's language. Two translators may be required per delegate if the presentation is longer than three hours. No special equipment is required for this type of interpreting.
